El Brooklyn Taco was originally created so Señor Taco and I could write letters to our Future Baby, lovingly dubbed FB. This weird idea morphed into something we loved – chronicling our newly-wed adventures in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.We write about everything from politics, penny-pinching, cooking, and DIY-ing stuff like mice extermination and clarifying shampoo. Mostly it’s shenanigans and interests that ST and I want FB to read someday.
Why name our blog El Brooklyn Taco? I honestly have no idea. The name just popped into my head one day. Honestly, I prefer enchiladas and flautas to tacos. But here we are.

I know, we totally did. I still have all the blankets and sweaters grandma made me. Crafting is definitely therapeutic -- you are a sensei and I’m a mere grasshopper, haha.
no, after the photoshop set up, fake mustaches, your little heart punch out, and all the wedding decorations, i find u to be sensei-worthy!
I find this blog quite refreshing….defintely helps me escape the rat race of a life that I live. kUDOS TO YOU EL TACO for writing to your FB beforehand. Great example of faith with expectation!
