The week before the wedding was hectic. ST, my sisters and I had to vacate our apartments to make room for friends and family arriving that week. Was it a bit crazy of us to give up our apartments so our peeps wouldn’t have to pay for expensive, tiny NYC hotels? Yeah. Was it worth it? Yup. We’d do it again in a heart beat.
Despite our temporary evictions, the week before our wedding was really fun. One of the highlights was a manicure and pedicure party for all of the ladies involved in our wedding and wedding party.
The maids of honor, getting pampered. This was back when Kim had big Mariah-esque hair. Those were the days.
Check out Kim’s nails – gold French tips. Meeeeow!
Flower girls Carmina and Liana. Cute little divas!
ST’s mom rocking silver fingers and toes. What a hottie.
My adorable junior bridesmaids.
Me and my cousin Cathy – our little party didn’t lack hot moms.
My wedding day nails
Go heavy or go home, right?
ST showed up too… someone had to pay the bill
This was definitely one of the highlights of my week before the wedding. I highly recommend Dream Nails in Gravesend. My sisters and I have been going here for years and they are consistent and always do a great job. Take advantage of the weekday deals many salons offer – they usually hike up the prices on the weekends.
Other relaxing, pre-wedding activities included drinks at La Linea, walking tours, and gelato in Little Italy. Gelato in Little Italy is pretty much required.
What did you do the week before your wedding?
