Remember this?
Well, after Artists and Fleas, I put my teacup sculptures in a box and stuffed them in the guest room closet. I just wanted to block that exhausting day from my memory for a while. As in, forever.
Unbeknownst to me, my teacup sculpture has been receiving lots of love! You Want Me to Buy That?, Sincerely Yours, and most recently, Dollar Store Crafts have posted about it. It even made its way to Pinterest. You guys are making me blush.
While I have always loved crafts and have been known to dabble in DIY, I never thought anyone would be interested in stuff I made. As we press on in our Renovating a Rental series, hopefully I can share more useful and original information on that front too.
A few weeks ago, I began assembling my tea cup jewelry organizer inspired by something from Urban Outfitters.
When I last left off, I’d used up all my tea cups and was just waiting to get more before I spray painted the whole thing white. Well, I got more tea cups from my mom and glued the whole thing to an old plate so there would be more room to hang necklaces and other random stuff. After a fresh coat of leftover wedding white spray paint – voila!
